Thomas Gammeltoft-Hansen

Chaiman of the Board

Thomas Gammeltoft-Hansen has a long-standing experience working to combine research and practical interventions in the field of human rights. He has worked as research director at both the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in Lund, Sweden and the The Danish Institute for Human Rights. As an expert on migration and refugees, he is an often used commentator in Nordic and international newspapers, and regularly serves as advisor to governments, NGOs and international organisations. Thomas Is a skilled Cellist and has done a number of projects linking research to visual art projects, music events and developed theatre projects based on his research. In his daily work, Thomas is professor with special responsibilities in migration and refugee law at the University of Copenhagen. He also holds a part-time professorship at the University of Oslo, is honorary professor at Aarhus University and this autumn will be taking up the Sergio Vieira the Mello visiting chair at PUC University in Brazil.

Thomas had previously served on the Swedish board of Turning Tables. He is also board member of the Danish Peace and Ecology Foundation as well as Paradox Intertainment.

Rasmus is the Global Managing Partner of Manyone, a leading creative

consultancy providing strategic design solutions to global clients, including IKEA, Novo

Nordisk, Lufthansa, and the United Nations.

As a strategist and brand consultant, Rasmus has worked with major international brands

and led and nurtured creative teams in Denmark and New York for the past two decades.

Rasmus' extensive experience in the creative services industry is shaped by his deep

interest in the synergy between design, strategy, and technology. His primary focus is on

building and nurturing cultures that prioritise the development of the skills, structures, and

processes needed to deliver highly impactful solutions.

His early years in Zambia instilled in him a profound connection to Southern Africa, a region

where he has both lived and worked.

Rasmus' academic background includes a Master of Science degree from Copenhagen

Business School.

Karina Pultz has more than 15 years of experience in promoting and protecting human rights in the humanitarian development sector. She works as a senior advisor for human rights at the Danish Church Aid, where she leads the organisation's strategic work on human rights. She has a background as head of the Middle East program at the Institute for Human Rights, where she was responsible for cooperation with national human rights institutions, academic and governmental actors in Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco. Karina Pultz has also taught Human Rights and Development as well as been thesis supervisor in Political Science at the University of Copenhagen for a number of years and has a background in supporting youth activists in the Middle East from her positions in DUF - Danish Youth Council and DIPD - Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy.
